Goals
Loyola Academy’s Theodore G. Munz S.J. Campus is located in Glenview, IL along the North Branch of the Chicago River. This 60 acre area is comprised of athletic fields and natural areas utilized for not only practice and competitive athletics but for educational purposed by the Loyola Science Department.
Services and Results
ILM has been working with Loyola to manage and maintain the prairie, wetland, and riparian areas since 2003. Restoration activities have included woody removal, wetland planting, prescribed burning, native seeding, invasive plant management, and river bank stabilization. In 2013 Loyola received the Green Landscape Award from Chicago Wilderness for their efforts in restoring and maintaining natural areas.
