Truxor
The Truxor amphibious machine is a versatile, multipurpose piece of equipment designed to operate effectively in both aquatic and marshy environments. It is widely used to remove aquatic vegetation and algae in addition to dredging, and other tasks. Its small size allows the Truxor to work in tight spaces and is especially effective at clearing around docks and lifts.
Barge Dredging
ILM offers mechanical dredging services performed from a barge comprised of an excavator mounted on a floating platform. Sediment is deposited in “totes” on deck for quick and efficient collection of material. Once full, we drive the barge to shore to empty the totes using a vacuum truck. This compact yet powerful vehicle is equipped with a large, enclosed tank and a high-powered vacuum system. The suction pulls up the sediment from the totes, through the hose, and into the truck’s sealed holding tank. This method is fast and clean, minimizing the amount of spillage during the sediment transfer process.
