Every crew has that one tool it reaches for first. For ILM, it’s the Truxor, an amphibious machine that drives off the shoreline straight into the water, no boat ramp needed, and gets to work. Why do we call it our “everything machine?” It’s the Swiss Army knife of amphibious service vehicles. The quick-coupler arm up front swaps tools in minutes: cut in the morning, rake at midday, dredge by afternoon. The Truxor is nimble. It works in tight spots and sensitive wetlands where conventional equipment could sink, get stuck, or do more damage than good. The Truxor is also lightweight, which means little to no tracks are left behind on land.
Here are a few things that the Truxor can do:
- Cut through dense aquatic vegetation, reeds, cattails, and water lilies with blades sized to the job
- Mow and mulch heavy shoreline brush and overgrowth with a flail mulcher
- Rake cut material out of the water with reed and high-tip rakes, so it doesn’t sink and feed the next bloom
- Skim floating algae, duckweed, and surface debris off the top
- Grapple out logs, trash, and large debris with grip tools
- Dig and excavate with a full arm and swappable buckets, working from land or water
- Dredge accumulated silt and sludge, by suction or mechanically with buckets
- Pump water, slurry, and sediment wherever it needs to go
- Clean up floating trash, plastics, invasive floating plants, and even oil spills
See why we call it our Everything Machine? It’s the logical solution for quick dock area and shoreline clean-up and it’s the workhorse behind our manual removal services.
